Fire Alarm Commissioning Engineer

Here at Fire Safe Services, were looking for a Fire Systems Commissioning Engineer to join our team based in the Midlands . You will be responsible for carrying out commissioning of newly installed fire alarm systems and in addition to existing fire systems. This is a new opportunity to lead the service in its next stage of development and we welcome interest from candidates who have a track record of operations in Fire Systems. What we offer: Were looking to offer a salary of £35,000 - £45,000 for this role and are open to candidates of various levels. In addition, we offer a company van, 25 days holiday (plus bank holidays) plus your birthday off as an additional day, and if it falls on a weekend you can take this on a Friday or Monday, paid travel and overtime rates paid up to double rates. Key areas of responsibility: Work with install team to ensure correct installation methods are maintained while completing on site commissioning and programming of fire alarm systems accurately and in accordance with BS5839 Produce final accurate drawings and zone plans for commissioned fire systems while reviewing fitted drawings and design paperwork to ensure they are accurate Be able to follow cause & effect charts and carry out system programming to suit Handover completed fire systems and complete client training while attending sites to carry out fault finding where required Experience required for the role: Minimum 3 years experience in commissioning of fire systems, but if you have less, please do still apply, we would like to speak to you regardless Able to demonstrate experience commissioning networked fire systems with cause & effect Exposure to programming and testing air sampling systems and working with a range of fire systems FIA Qualifications are desired but not needed to apply for the role Do you see yourself reflected in the description above?
