Engineering Team Leader

Working Hours: 12 hour Days & nights As a result of consistent orders and demand for their products, a long established, multi-site FMCG manufacturing company has a requirement for an Engineering Team Leader to join their friendly team. This role involves provision of engineering support, maintaining adequate cover, and ensuring all plant / machinery is kept in working order. You will be leading a proactive, experienced engineering team in the provision of both planned and reactive maintenance engineering activities. This role will suit a motivated engineering supervisor or senior engineer who is keen to lead a team in the upkeep of high speed, automated machinery. Role Description Leading the team in the provision of Planned and reactive maintenance engineering activities across a range of manufacturing machinery. Planning of engineering work to be carried out. Providing skilled 'hands on' mechanical / electrical fault-finding support. Ensuring all engineering records are accurately completed and recorded. Ensure engineers are trained in Health & Safety practices. Contributing to engineering improvement ideas. Skills and Qualifications Engineering Team Leading experience. Qualified to Level 3+ in an engineering discipline (Mechanical or Electrical) Ability to lead and manage a team of maintenance engineers. Experience of working within an industrial manufacturing environment. Strong communication skills.
