A manufacturer of bespoke precision components for the aerospace industry is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to join their growing automation department.
Working alongside the Manufacturing and Automation engineering teams, The Manufacturing Engineer will be identifying and leading projects around Continuous Improvement, Improving Health & Safety, Productivity, Scrap reduction, and Automation
Responsibilities of Manufacturing Engineer:
- Improve daily automation operational metrics within the business
- Implement and help maintain Lean Manufacturing practices
- Involvement in Automation investments, robot programming and additive manufacturing
- Supporting the development of fixtures and tooling using CAD software
- Responsible for technical documentation, including but not limited to CAPEX, SWPs, and Training Matrixes
- Identify new opportunities within the drive to drive and maintain a continuous improvement mentality
The ideal candidate will have had previous exposure to programming industrial robots, be able to evaluate hardware designs and have a key focus on Health & Safety within a manufacturing environment
