PLC Programmer

Position: PLC Programmer Location: Armagh Salary: £30,000 - £40,000 Exciting Opportunity: PLC Programmer in Armagh! About Our Client: Our client, a well-established company in County Armagh, is seeking a skilled PLC Programmer to join their engineering team. This role involves developing, programming, and maintaining PLC systems to optimise production processes and ensure operational efficiency. Key Responsibilities: Design, develop, and program PLC systems to automate and improve production processes. Troubleshoot and resolve issues with existing PLC systems and related equipment. Collaborate with production and maintenance teams to integrate PLC systems into manufacturing processes. Conduct routine maintenance, updates, and modifications to PLC systems to enhance system performance. Create and maintain documentation for PLC programs, configurations, and system changes. Ensure compliance with safety standards, industry regulations, and company policies. Qualifications and Skills: Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation, or a related field. Proven experience in PLC programming, preferably in an industrial or manufacturing environment. Strong knowledge of PLC systems (e.g., Siemens, Allen-Bradley) and associated programming languages.
