Site Engineer

Site Engineer (Earthworks) Location: Alcester Rate: £300 - £400 per day (DOE & KIT provided) Contract: Long-term Company Overview: Our client is a growing and reputable company specializing in the earthworks industry within the construction sector. Known for delivering high-quality projects, they are now seeking a skilled and experienced Site Engineer to join their team for a long-term contract. Key Responsibilities: * Oversee and manage site engineering activities related to earthworks * Set out and ensure accurate construction in line with project drawings and specifications * Conduct site surveys and assessments to monitor progress and quality * Ensure health and safety protocols are followed at all times * Liaise with the site team, subcontractors, and clients to maintain smooth project operations * Assist in the preparation of reports, documentation, and project plans * Solve on-site technical issues and provide engineering support where needed Key Requirements: * Proven experience as a Site Engineer with Bulk Earthworks. * Strong knowledge of groundworks, excavations, and earthmoving techniques * Proficiency in setting out using Total Stations and GPS equipment * Understanding of health and safety regulations in construction * Excellent problem-solving and communication skills * Degree or equivalent qualification in Civil Engineering or a related discipline (desirable) * CSCS card required What’s on Offer: * Competitive day rate of £300 - £400 depending on experience & KIT provided * Long-term contract with a well-established and growing company * Opportunity to work on large-scale and exciting earthworks projects * Great potential for career progression and further development If you're a motivated and experienced Site Engineer with a passion for earthworks, this is the perfect opportunity to take the next step in your career
