Refrigeration Engineer

Location: Harrow, Park Royal, Wembley, London We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Refrigeration Engineer to join our team, supporting a busy food production facility. This role involves a hands-on approach to the service, maintenance, and installation of refrigeration systems. You will work independently and as part of a team, ensuring that all tasks are carried out efficiently and to a high standard.

Your profile and qualifications:

Commercial Refrigeration experience – 5 years

*

City & Guilds (2079) F GAS

*

City & Guilds (2078) Ammonia Safe Handling Beneficial but not required

*

C02, Hydrocarbon qualifications

*

Ability to follow technical drawings, building plans, and other instructions

*

Ability to work carefully, methodically and safely

*

Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to diagnose and repair refrigeration issues.

*

Competent in basic electrical work.

*

Skilled in brazing techniques.

*

Experience in a busy food production facility is highly desirable.

Ability to fabricate and assemble components using hand tools and power tools.

*

Ability to produce service quotations and keep accurate service records.

*

Experience in installing a wide range of refrigeration components

*

Strong understanding of health and safety regulations
