Electrical Maintenance Engineer

Job Title: Electrical Maintenance Engineer (Days) Location: Northampton Type: Full time, Permanent Days only - Mon-Fri, rotating shifts (06:00-14:00 & 14:00-22:00) Salary: up to £45,000/year + joining bonus Benefits: life assurance, retail discounts and more Responsibilities will include: -Maintain, service, and repair all manufacturing machinery to ensure optimal functioning. -Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance (PPM) to identify potential issues before they arise. -Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical and mechanical faults in machinery. -Repair and replace faulty components, wiring, and systems to minimise production downtime. -Work on DC/AC Drives, motors, safety circuits, PLCs, and sensors -Work on gearboxes and pumps -Assist in training and mentoring junior staff or apprentices in safe and effective maintenance practices. -Work with hydraulic and pneumatic control systems as needed to support manufacturing processes. -Support the installation and commissioning of new machinery and equipment as required.
