Electrical and Instrumentation Supervisor

We are now seeking the above role to join our maintenance team at our Erith plant, which is a major crusher & refiner of rapeseed in the UK, servicing the food, feed and bio fuel sectors. Your Responsibilities * Designing and implementing work schedules for the electrical team, including planned preventative maintenance, reactive breakdowns and new installations. * Direct supervision of the day work, shift technicians and contractors. * Review work order progress according to time and required standards. * Contribute to electrical design planning & updates of site electrical drawings. * Provide progress reports to the work order planning and scheduling team. * Coordination with production and other departments. * Supporting and overseeing the sites electrical & instrumentation compliance. * Coaching of Electrical Apprentices. * Identifying and ensuring the site has adequate spares for electrical infrastructure. * Deputise for the Electrical and Instrumentation Superintendent, specifically relating to; * HV operation/isolation * Permit writing * Work order scheduling and management Your Profile * City & Guilds/NC/HNC in Electrical Engineering. * Good understanding of Microsoft Office suite. * Certified for HV operation and isolation. * Minimum 3 years’ experience in an industrial maintenance environment. * Must be physically and mentally fit to carry out all required expected duties associate with job: i.e. use of stairs, working at height, confined space entry, and manual handling requirements.
