Field Based Electronics Technician

Field Based Electronics Technician Location: Derby Salary: Up to £40,000 DOE Start Date: ASAP Hours: 40 Contract Length: Permanent Our client Our client is a rapidly growing technology company that operates in the railway industry, they specialise in providing innovative on-train systems which are leading the way to developing improved railway maintenance activities. You will be responsible for: * Installation of on-train systems * Maintenance of installed on-train systems * Producing installation methods instructions * Hardware Testing * Electronic configurations * Systems testing, including but not limited to using Oscilloscopes, Flukes, Meggers. * Liaising with customers on product feedback to maintain continued levels of excellence Benefits: * £1,000 bonus when you start to kit out a home office * Stock and Shares options * Hybrid Working Must have: * Strong rolling stock or avionics experience General requirements: * Mechanical or electrical installation experience * Experience in electronic diagnostic and repairs * UK Driving license * Happy with traveling and staying away * Basic understanding of Linux would be beneficial Qualifications: * HNC in Electronic Engineering PLEASE NOTE ALL APPLICANTS MUST BE ABLE TO PASS AN DRUGS AND ALCOHOL TEST BEFORE BEING OFFERED A POSITION (this is standard procedure on Rail depots) Please note due to the volume of applications, we can only commit to contact those candidates we deem suitable for the position.
