Mechanical Maintenance Engineer Hartlepool £52,000 + Company Phone + 20 Holidays + Bank Holidays + Pension + Training and Development Opportunities + Call Out Rota Monday to Friday, 6am to 3.30pm, 7am to 4.30pm and 1.30pm to 11pm. Mechanical Maintenance Engineer required for a well-established and expanding business. The successful candidate needs to be have mechanical maintenance skills and hold a relevant qualification.  Engineers from plant, manufacturing and ex forces will all be suitable. Reporting into the Maintenance Manager, you will be part of a team of 12 responsible for PPM and reactive maintenance.  Part of the role will be carrying out maintenance at 3 other sites, pool van provided for any travel between other plants. This is a secure and stable role offering training and the opportunity to work on improvement projects. The Mechanical Maintenance Engineer Role:  ·       Working across 4 sites on various production/plant machinery, 2 within Hartlepool, Washington and Middlesbrough. ·       Mechanical maintenance - most PPM, with occasional reactive maintenance. ·       Working on mobile plant and static heavy plant machinery. ·       Working on Conveyors Belts, Gearbox, Motors, Bearings, Hydraulics and other Rotating equipment. ·       Call out rota. (The company had 12 call outs in total last year). The Successful Maintenance Mechanical Engineer:  ·       PPM and reactive maintenance skills ·       Mechanical maintenance background ·       Hold a relevant qualification and ideally hold IOSH Managing Safely
