Mechanical / Senior Mechanical Engineer - Finland / Amsterdam - Up to €95,000 DOE + Accommodations, Flights, Tax-Free Subsistence, Bills, and Wi-Fi. First Task Professional is excited to collaborate with a leading specialist construction firm renowned for delivering fast-paced, complex industrial projects across Europe. The contractor is looking for 1x Mechanical Engineer and 2x Senior Mechanical Engineers to support the execution of projects valued between €60M-1BN. Responsibilities - * Complete mechanical design reviews to identify design gaps and deviations or contradictions in the specifications and IFC drawings * Generate detailed RFI’s to address any ambiguity or potential design issues * Validate equipment sizing (ductwork, pipework etc.) and make recommendations as appropriate * Manage submittals through the approvals process, track procurement and delivery of electrical equipment and complete the receipt verification process once the equipment is delivered. * The Senior Mechanical Engineers will support the mechanical delivery element of the project in conjunction with the wider project team. Requirements - * A relevant qualification is essential, e.g. Degree in Mechanical Engineering. A trade qualification would be an advantage. * 5+ years of previous experience in a similar role, within a mechanical and electrical contracting environment is essential * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. * Knowledge of mechanical systems pertaining to data centre environment.
