Job Title: Senior Project Manager – Electrical Location: Greater Manchester Salary: Competitive Job Type: Permanent About the Role: As a Project Manager, you will lead the delivery of power systems projects, ensuring exceptional technical solutions and service standards. Leveraging your industry knowledge, you'll oversee service and maintenance contracts, ensuring that internal teams and third-party suppliers meet project scopes on time, within budget, and in compliance with industry standards. You will be well-versed in low and high voltage systems (up to 132kV) and experienced in quoting, planning, and executing site services, modifications, upgrades, repairs, and system integrations. Your role will involve coordinating with various departments, briefing service engineers, and ensuring successful implementation of maintenance programs for switchgear, transformers, and related equipment. Your strong communication skills will be essential as you keep clients and internal teams updated on project statuses, building lasting relationships with clients and ensuring the company becomes their preferred power systems partner. You'll also play a key role in generating new and repeat revenue streams, monitoring project profitability, and contributing to overall sales targets. You will regularly attend sales and project management meetings to discuss leads, project statuses, and challenges, while also championing the company brand and fostering a positive work environment. Key Responsibilities: Project Management: Lead projects with top-down oversight, ensuring completion on time, within budget, and according to industry standards. Coordination: Work with internal teams and third-party suppliers to keep projects on track. Client Relationships: Build and maintain strong client relationships, ensuring satisfaction and repeat business. Financial Oversight: Monitor and control project financials, ensuring profitability and contributing to sales targets. Compliance: Ensure all work aligns with HSEQ standards and company procedures. Qualifications & Experience Technical Expertise: Strong knowledge of HV/LV systems, rotating machinery, and protective relaying. Skills: Proficiency in MS Office, strong commercial acumen, excellent communication skills, and the ability to influence and build relationships at all levels.
