As Shift Mechanical Engineer you will be responsible for driving a 'Fix 4 Life' culture and increasing plant equipment uptime, whilst also ensuring focus is given to maintain efficiency of the sites 24/7 glass production process. The role demands the ability to problem solve and use engineering initiative whilst holding the ability to make decisions and work under pressure in a fast paced manufacturing environment.
The Key Requirements
- Time served mechanical engineering technician - Level 3 / ONC / City Guilds qualified
- Experience of working within a fast-paced manufacturing environment
- Knowledge of motor gearboxes, conveyor systems and process machinery
- Ability to read schematics and interpret technical information
