Project Engineer (6-12 FTC)

They are looking for an experienced Fire Systems Project Engineer to join their growing team. The ideal candidate will have the ability to manage the installation of a new fire alarm networks and associated new Advanced Fire Alarm Panels.   Project Engineer   Fixed Term Contract (6-12 Months) Up to £40,000 Monday – Friday 08:00-16:00 Bangor   Project Engineer Job Description Reporting to the Project Manager, assist in leading a Subcontract Delivery Team to develop and deliver a programme on Fire Alarm or Custodial projects. The ability to manage and take responsibility for SSG subcontractors whilst collaborating with other Project Managers from other trades, and associated teams to realise the project delivery target. Some ability to assist in forecasting revenue, margin, HSE&Q and ensure a positive client experience. Assist the Project Manager in delivering the Pre-Construction and Construction related processes required to satisfactorily deliver site-based project works. Support the Project Manager with site meetings and liaise with all relevant parties including but not limited to Operations Managers, Estates Managers, clients, trade contractors and other third parties including departments to agree acceptable quality and timing of the delivery of works. Plan, manage and monitor site progress, under the guidance of the project manager. Oversee subcontractors, labour and material requirements for the contract and support Project the team with matters primarily relating to on-site activities Build strong partnerships with supply partners to bring technical understanding and expectations to the customers whilst ensuring effective delivery of solutions that meet quality expectations.  Project Engineer Essential Experience/Skills/Qualifications 5 years’ experience in an Electrical environment (data, security, fire, access controls) FIA Qualification (Fire Industry Association) CSCS card  Project Engineer Company Benefits Company car/allowance & Free on-site parking 25 days holiday plus bank holidays Pension scheme & Death benefit scheme 2 x annual salary.
