Salary: £30,000 - £33,000 dependent on experience and location (+bonus +benefits)

Location: The role will be based at our London or Sheffield office, with a blend of in-office (3 days) and homeworking (2 days) per week.

What you'll be doing

  • You will be working with Art Directors who will help you grow in your role and teach you the skills to progress in your career.
  • The successful candidate will be working mostly on the literary and music lists, but adaptable enough to work on commercial publishing, special editions, illustrated books and gifts.

Who we are looking for

  • The candidate will need to have proven publishing design or related packaging experience.
  • You should have a thirst to learn, good organisational skills and the ability to problem solve with support.
  • Have a good working knowledge of InDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator, have strong art working skills and the ability to provide print ready files.
  • Be aware of new trends, illustrator talent, and have a passion for books and design.
  • The ability to work effectively to tight deadlines, work collaboratively and with effective communication, and have an understanding of the marketplace and end consumer.
