Lead Electronics Engineer

One of Avanti's clients in the East London area is looking for a lead electronic engineer to lead one of their small (team of 3 electronic engineers) cross-functional R+D teams. They're working on a brand new device which incorporates electronics, software, mechanical, and control technologies, and you'll help bring this product through the full design life-cycle, from cradle to grave. Essential skills: Exposure to the full hardware design life-cycle, and ability to take a project from cradle to production. Circuit Design, PCB Design/Layout, Schematic Capture, etc. Digital electronics using FPGA boards Coding ability in VHDL/Verilog Experience with project management or team leadership/management Nice to have: Hardware design for a regulated industry On offer is a salary of £70-75,000 + a strong benefits package including pension contribution up to 11%, 25 days holiday, car allowance, and 10% bonus (targeted).
