My client is a world leader in the design and manufacture of heavy-duty industrial machinery used across the globe.
Job Role - Production Engineer
Reporting to the Engineering Manager the Production Engineer shall manage the process of recently developed product and component designs into the production stage.
Duties – Production Engineer
Generate process planning routes for component parts.
Ensure the correct structure and base data are maintained on the ERP system.
Provide production expertise to other departments, e.g. Engineering, Purchasing, Quality, Operations.
Experience and Qualifications – Production Engineer
- Engineering qualification in relevant discipline
- Knowledge of fitting, machining and fabrication
- Tooling and equipment selection and design
- Ability to undertake operation analysis (efficiency studies and cost reduction exercises)
Candidates who are currently a Manufacturing Engineer, Production Engineer, Process Engineer, Technical, Mechanical Engineer, Design Engineer or Technician could be suitable for this role.
