Structural Engineer

Job Title: Structural Engineer

Location: England, East of England, Essex

Job Type: Permanent, expected to work Full-Time hours

Salary: £42,000 - £55,000 Per annum

Responsibilities:

• Produce practical and cost-effective structural designs in timber, concrete, masonry, and steel
• Undertake analysis and design using a range of software packages

Required Qualifications:

• A degree in Civil or Structural Engineering
• Working towards being Chartered or already Chartered with the Institution of Structural Engineers

Experience:

• Minimum of five years' experience as a Structural Engineer
• Experienced in a range of common building materials including concrete, steel, masonry, and timber
• Excellent communication skills
• Experience with relevant software packages

Preferred Qualifications:

• Professional accreditation or membership with relevant engineering bodies

Knowledge and Skills:

• Strong understanding of structural engineering principles
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment
• Good project management skills
