Engineering Manager Aerospace & Defence Specialist Structures Build Support Barrow-in-Furness 4-5 days per week on-site Up to £61,900 + 10% Bonus *Candidates will need to be able to go through SC* We are working with an organisation that provides products and services to UK and US government agencies to span areas including Maritime, Air, Land, Cyber, Electronics and Aerospace. You'll be joining during an exciting time of growth and innovation, working on multi-billion-pound programmes of work for the Ministry of Defence. The role: * Leading and managing Engineering staff. * Ensuring developed solutions are clearly defined, integrated, configured, controlled, and delivered. * Performing Engineering planning, managing, and reviewing activities. Background required: * Providing agile technical support and identifying solutions to enable build with the design and engineering of complex steel structures. * Experience of design Jigs, lifting, and handling equipment, LOLER, transportation. * Management/Lead experience.
