Job Title: CNC Turner      Location: Atherstone Hours: 39 hours per week (4-day week) Mon-Wed: 4:00 PM – 2:00 AM Thurs: 3:00 PM – Midnight Friday overtime (At 1.5X) My client is seeking an experienced CNC Machinist to program, set, and operate Fanuc-controlled lathes with live tooling. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of 3 & 4 axis machining and experience working with a variety of materials, including stainless steel, aluminium, mild steel, and cast iron. Experience machining medium to large fabrications and castings is essential. Key Responsibilities: Program, set, and operate Fanuc control lathes with live tooling. Machine a wide range of materials including stainless steel, aluminium, mild steel, and cast iron. Machine large fabrications and castings to high tolerances. Read and interpret engineering drawings to produce high-quality work. Conduct own inspections and maintain high precision. Safely use overhead cranes and other necessary equipment. Work independently with minimal supervision while contributing to team efforts. Flexibility to cover shifts when needed. Qualifications & Skills: Time-served apprenticeship or significant experience in machining. Strong knowledge of work-holding methods, tool selection, and cutting parameters. Previous experience in precision engineering/manufacturing is essential. Ability to work independently and maintain reliability. Must be flexible and adaptable, with the ability to support shift cover during holidays. Benefits: Competitive salary with shift allowance. 22 days holiday plus bank holidays.
