Mechanical Maintenance Engineer

Do you want to work fewer hours for more money? We are currently recruiting for a unique Mechanical Maintenance Team Leader position with one of the UK's leading textiles producers. Working in a dynamic role, this role offer a generous financial package for a 3 day weekThis role involves working a 36-hour week from Friday to Sunday (6am-6pm). The primary responsibility is preventative maintenance, ensuring machinery is maintained outside of production hours to maximize production efficiency. Managing a team of up to three, this is an excellent opportunity for a highly skilled mechanical engineer to step into a management role. Who This Job Would Suit: This role is ideal for a seasoned Mechanical Maintenance Engineer with at least two years of experience in technical or engineering roles within a manufacturing environment. Candidates should be comfortable working in fast-paced environments, possess strong diagnostic skills, and have a hands-on approach to problem-solving. Experience in the textiles industry is preferred but not essential. Key Responsibilities: Lead a team on weekend shifts to maintain and repair machinery. Conduct preventive maintenance and rectify minor issues. Improve machine cleanliness and reduce maintenance time. Lubricate textile equipment and ensure proper functioning. Provide feedback on maintenance issues and implement improvements.
