Software Engineer

We are working with a proprietary trading firm in London that is modest in size but ambitious in it's growth plans the next 2 years. They have 1 role for a Python Engineer with a bias in Infrastructure to join them on a hybrid basis and help scale out their efforts in equities, commodities and fixed income. Financial expertise is not required, as they are happy to bring you up to speed in their markets. These are senior IC roles that'll have alot of autonomy in a very flat structured firm. Essential skills: BS in CS or similarly related field. 2 recent years of experience in commercial development with Python Core experience with infrastructure development (docker, k8s, CI/CD) Currently working for a disruptor, within fintech or for a trading firm. Expertise with large codebases and their development. Beneficial skills: MSCS/ PhD in CS or similar field. Django, FastAPI and Bottle would be useful but not essential Experience working on trading systems Good exposure to networking and low level programming.
