Quality Technician/ Quality Engineer

My Client who is a leading manufacturer within their field is seeking an experienced Quality Engineer/ Quality Technician to join their team due to continued growth and expansion.
The Successful Quality Controller will have the following attributes:
- Experience working in an engineering manufacturing environment
- Experience using Excel to display data (can formulate trend graphs ect)
- Experience with ISO auditing (ideally ISO 9001)
- Good understanding of lean manufacturing techniques
- Knowledge of quality problem solving tools
- Ability to read engineering drawings
- Ability to use handheld measuring tools such as verniers and micrometers
- Experience inspecting machined parts
- Experience inspecting inward goods
- Ability to read and understand engineering drawings
- Experienced Processing audits
- IT Literate
- Experienced in dealing with customers
Quality Controller the role:
- Perform first off inspections
- Conduct internal audits and assist with processing external audits
- Identify issues and come up with solutions using quality problem tools such as 8D, 5WHY
- Write up inspection and Non-Conformance reports
- Control all quality documentation
- Take the lead in any ISO auditing reaccreditation
- Liaise with customers and investigate any issues / complaints
