As our Multi-Skilled Engineer, you'll be an integralmember of the Engineering function at the Butterkist popcornfactory, providing a comprehensive mechanical, electrical andmaintenance engineering service in order to safely sustain andimprove production operating efficiencies in line with thecontinued growth of the business.
Salary:£45,240pa

The Role:
As our Multi-Skilled Engineer, you'll be an integralmember of the Engineering function at the Butterkist popcornfactory, providing a comprehensive mechanical, electrical andmaintenance engineering service in order to safely sustain andimprove production operating efficiencies in line with thecontinued growth of the business.
Some of your key responsibilities willinclude:
- Repair and maintenance ofproduction and ancillary equipment, property and facilitiesensuring downtime is kept to a minimum and in line with therequirements of the production process andplan
- Create PPM schedules, maintaining accuratemaintenance records and completing data entry records withinappropriate timescales
- Act as host forContractors working on site ensuring that all necessarydocumentation is available and completed and that safe workingpractices are agreed prior to commencement ofwork
- Responding to requests from production forengineering assistance and monitoring visual management boards toensure flagged items are dealt with
- Workingwith the production teams to improve their knowledge of theequipment and ability to quickly identify problems and resolvewhere appropriate, or refer
- Follow policies andprocedures in conjunction with the food quality management systemand retailer-specific technical standards
- Playan active part in health and safety, identifying hazards and risksand ensuring all health and safety procedures and safe workingpractices are followed at all times
