Assistant Site Maintenance Engineer

Our established and expanding client are currently looking to recruit an Assistant Maintenance Engineer / Site Engineer Electrical or Mechanical, on a permanent basis.

As part of the onsite support team, the Site assistant Engineer will provide a hands on approach and will have a basic understanding of electrical/mechanical systems. Flexible and organized, you will strive to achieve high standards from self and others. All of your tasks are to be performed with H&S as the primary consideration. Full training and support will be provided. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is looking to develop their career within Engineering / Maintenance and has an interest in developing their understanding of either electrical systems or mechanical systems.

Key duties

• Carry out preventative, reactive and operational support activities
• Communicate with the Site Engineering Manager/Site support contract supervisor - and customer in a clear and concise manner
• Adhere to the quality and reporting systems.
• Follow escalation procedures when required.
• Comply with all site H&S measures; actively seek to identify new risks to you and others and work to eliminate them.
• Monitor KPI s
• Housekeeping and cleaning
