Job Title: Project Engineer - Systems Team Leader As a Project Engineer - Systems Team Leader  You’ll Be Doing: Overseeing the production of Flight Systems engineering data to meet project requirements, ensuring alignment with agreed standards and procedures while maintaining quality, cost, and schedule adherence. Collaborating with various engineering and project teams to develop effective engineering solutions. Planning, executing, and guiding engineering tasks based on the project lifecycle phase, which may include requirements development, system and equipment design, modelling, system integration, qualification, certification, and testing. Reviewing and approving specifications, reports, and proposals to ensure technical accuracy and that task objectives are met. Driving the development of new systems by implementing best practice systems lifecycle processes. Providing overall team leadership, including task management and prioritization, performance management, staff development, cost control, and ensuring technical quality. Your Skills and Experiences: Essential: Degree or equivalent qualification in a relevant STEM field (e.g., Aeronautical, Mechanical, Electrical Engineering, Physics, Maths, or Science). Strong knowledge of the systems engineering lifecycle and the ability to apply effective systems engineering practices. Extensive experience in Mechanical, Electrical, or Fluid Systems Engineering, ideally within an aerospace application. Proven ability to apply prior experience to guide, support, and lead others. Ability to research system design data and solve complex engineering problems.
