Electrician

Capital Electrical UK & Ireland Ltd. has an exciting opportunity for two experienced electricians. With a wide variety of new clients, we are offering great benefits in an up-and-coming business with the opportunity for advancement. Our work is throughout North Yorkshire with occasional working away, for which a food allowance and accommodation is provided. For the right candidate, we will provide a company van, fuel card, competitive rates of pay, overtime and paid holidays. The standard salaried working day is 8 hours plus overtime and hourly rates range between £16.00 and £19.00. In return, we ask for * minimum NVQ Level 3 qualified (Electrical Installation) * City and Guilds 18th Edition * experience of domestic and commercial environments * experience of single-phase and three-phase systems * experience with wiring new-build houses * experience with shopfitting * ability to read drawings and schematics * hard working and able to use initiative * Inspection and Testing 2391/2 or equivalent (preferred) * a valid ECS card * a full UK manual driving licence (held for 12 months + and with no more than 3 points) * Inspection and Testing 2391/2 or equivalent (preferred) Responsibilities: - Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems and equipment - Read and interpret blueprints and technical diagrams - Troubleshoot electrical issues and perform necessary repairs - Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on electrical systems - Collaborate with other team members to complete projects efficiently - Adhere to safety protocols and regulations at all times Requirements: - Proven experience as an electrician or in a similar role - Valid electrician license or certification - Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools - Strong knowledge of electrical codes and regulations - Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical diagrams - Excellent problem-solving skills - Attention to detail and precision in workmanship - Physical stamina to perform tasks requiring standing, bending, and lifting Note: This job description is intended to provide a general overview of the position.
