We are recruiting an Industrial Door Engineer/Technician to join our field-based team in Scotland. This role would suit candidates living in Glasgow or Edinburgh The purpose of the Door Engineer is to installation, service and maintain industrial doors and docking equipment within Scotland. What we offer: * A competitive basic salary * Generous overtime (double time at weekends and bank holidays) * Paid travel time x1.5 * Call out payment * 25 days annual leave, plus bank holidays * Contributory pension + life assurance + income protection insurance * Konecranes Technician earns a share of the margin made on sales leads/ Scheme is paid quarterly and requires no additional paperwork * A Company van with satellite navigation, fuel card, corporate clothing and smart phone are provided * Employee Share Save Scheme * Retail, grocery, DIY and leisure discounts * Employee Assistance Programme We are looking for Door Engineers who have the following skills and attributes: * Apprentice-trained/time-served/fitters mate route or equivalent (i.e., electrically NVQ level 3) in a maintenance or installation-related field * Basic electrical knowledge – essential * Knowledge and/or experience of hydraulics – preferred but not essential * Experienced within the industrial door or related industry, such as traffic gates/barriers. * Ability to work at height * IT literate * UK driver’s licence – essential The role of Door Engineer reports into the Operations Manager.
