Field Service Engineer

Service/ Installation/ Commissioning * Basildon - (Nationwide) * If not on the road and working static from site (08:30 – 17:00) * £30k - £35k We are working with an established Machines sell and distribution company They are recruiting for a Service Engineer to join their team. In return for a salary in the region £30k - £35k + Performance Bonus along with excellent employment benefits. In a nutshell you will be supporting their customer base with Installations, services and breakdowns. What you will be doing? Installations: * Installing, handing over and commissioning machines at customer sites: ready for start- up according the Client’s requirements * Assembling electrical and mechanical systems * Supporting the installation and operation of machines on fares and exhibitions Breakdowns: * Resolving basic troubleshooting cases, including the diagnosis and analyses of the case. Key Responsibilities include: * Completing and communicating required reports such as: - Service reports and support request forms - Customer feedback - Installation documentation Requirements: * Ability to maintain and repair automated machinery * Reading engineering drawings / schematics independently * Electrical and mechanical fault finding * Readiness to travel (Monday – Friday) * Have a flexible schedule * Full UK Driving license Qualifications: Similar experience required BOHS P601 Local Exhaust Ventilation is an advantage but training can be provided What’s in it for you: Equipment: Tools are provided for you IT: Laptop provided Holidays: 20 days + Bank Holidays rises after 5 years service Company Van, Company Phone, Pension Scheme and Bonus Scheme How to Apply Mal Grierson Job Ref: 1533 All applicants must live in the UK and be eligible to work and live in the UK.
