As a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer you will be part of our hands on in-house team who keep the plant running by ensuring the equipment runs smoothly. From troubleshooting to planned preventive maintenance (PPM), you will be hands-on with specialist machinery, ensuring everything runs like clockwork.

Carry out essential maintenance Assist in developing the agility maintenance system Attend breakdowns Ensure machine safety standards are upheld and critical spares are maintained Install/maintain plant machinery Improve factory overall equipment effectiveness (OEE) Promote Lean thinking Use various types of testing equipment to locate and fix faults Contribute to safe systems of work (SSOW) documentation Adhere to the company's quality system & standards in accordance with BSEN ISO 9001Profile
You'll have completed a hands-on apprentice training programme HNC or HND qualification (or equivalent) Experience in heavy industry manufacturing Knowledge of cutting & grinding regulations Arc & Mig welding / basic fabricationJob Offer
Salary £46,459 per annum Shift Pattern rotates weekly: Monday to Friday (Days) 7am-5pm - Sunday to Thursday (Nights) 7pm - 5am Overtime readily available Access to a world class training centre Company Pension Share Scheme Life Assurance Health, Well-being and Money Saving Opportunities
