Girling Jones are working with a leading Tier 1 partnership to support their expansion as they prepare for the initiation of AMP8. Seeking new experienced MEICA / MEP staff to be a part of South West Waters clean water projects (non-infrastructure framework). Right now, our client is seeking a Lead MEP Engineer.
Leadership experience is essential as well as a relevant degree, however we are open to discussions with those holding equivalent MEP design & construction experience, authority, and qualifications.

Your new employer:
- A renowned 25 year long partnership has led out client to great success in providing fully integrated civil engineering feasibility, design, construction and commissioning services to the UK water sector, with a focus on innovation, affordability, and flexibility
- Developing the commissioning strategy, liaising with suppliers and facilitating contractor commissioning and assist the project team with project completions
- Lead the team of mechanical, EICA and commissioning engineers to develop best practice, a strong health & safety environment and value for money, including mentoring graduates, apprentices, and trainees
- Analysing and interpreting data to support a smooth commissioning process
- Strong leadership ability & people management skills
- Proactive approach to resolving any unexpected technical difficulties and other problems that may arise
- Experience of the design, installation & commissioning of electrical, mechanical and process assets
- Experience of working to mechanical and/or electrical safe working procedures including producing and reviewing third party Risk Assessments & Method Statements
- Full UK driving licence
