Water Treatment Engineer

Job Title: Water Treatment Engineer Location: Watford, Hertfordshire Salary/Benefits: £24k - £35k + Training & Benefits Our Client is seeking an enthusiastic Water Treatment Engineer to join their busy team in the South East of England. The company is a privately-owned and growing outfit, who can offer excellent training schemes for hardworking engineers. The role covers contracts in: Watford, Wembley, Enfield, Luton, Stevenage, Harlow, Brentwood, Ilford, Romford, Basildon, Dartford, Grays, Erith, Bromley, Orpington, Caterham, Redhill, Croydon, Epsom, Kingston upon Thames, Hounslow, Southall, Slough, Windsor. Experience / Qualifications: - Will need experience working as a Water Treatment Engineer for a well-established outfit - Working knowledge of ACOP L8, HTM 0401 & HSG 274 guidelines - Will ideally hold experience working on: Closed Systems and Cooling Towers - Comfortable within Client-facing interactions and able to discuss technical issues - Strong written ability and eloquent spoken manner The Role: - Undertaking a wide range of Water Treatment / Water Hygiene duties, including: Cold Water Storage Tank Cleans, TMV Servicing, Chlorine Dioxide Testing and Mains Disinfections - Servicing a mixed portfolio of Client sites, including: Healthcare, Industrial, Education and Local Authority - Producing detailed written reports and updating company documents - Travelling as per company requirements - Representing the company in a professional manner Alternative job titles: Water Hygiene Engineer, Legionella Technician, L8 Engineer, Water Hygiene Operative, Environmental Service Technician.
