DV Cleared Civil/ Structural Engineer - Reading - Outside of scope of IR35 Are you a seasoned Civil and Structural Engineer seeking a role that offers the chance to work on exciting Nuclear and Defence projects? An esteemed client is looking for a dedicated individual to join their team at Burghfield. This long term contract offers a unique 9-day fortnight, allowing for an extra day off every other week. The role is based on-site at Burghfield, where you will be part of a dynamic team working on critical civil and structural engineering projects. The position is open to Senior or Principal Engineers, as well as Mechanical Engineers with extensive structural experience. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing and executing complex engineering tasks, ensuring the highest standards of safety and quality are maintained. To be considered for this role, candidates must possess the following qualifications and experience: - DV Clearance: Due to the sensitive nature of the work, candidates must hold Developed Vetting (DV) clearance. - Educational Background: A degree in Civil or Structural Engineering, or a related field. - Experience: Significant experience in civil and structural engineering projects, particularly in senior or principal roles. Mechanical Engineers with substantial structural experience are also encouraged to apply. - Technical Skills: Proficiency in relevant engineering software and tools, with a strong understanding of industry standards and regulations. - Leadership: Demonstrated ability to lead and manage engineering teams, with excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
