Manual QA Engineer Job Overview As an experienced Manual QA Engineer, you will play a key role in ensuring that my clients products are rigorously tested to meet high standards of quality and reliability. You will be involved in testing new features and products for both desktop and web applications, with a focus on delivering exceptional software experiences. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic environment where attention to detail and a passion for quality are highly valued. Key Responsibilities: Gain an in-depth understanding of software products and critically analyse use cases. Design and execute comprehensive manual test scripts and test plans to assess software quality, stability, and performance. Document test plans and test cases thoroughly to ensure clarity and traceability throughout the testing process. Identify and report bugs, contributing to continuous improvement in software quality. Conduct various types of testing across both frontend and backend systems, including acceptance, integration, UI/UX, performance, smoke, and regression testing. Continuously improve manual testing processes by implementing new tools and techniques. Collaborate and communicate with project managers, developers, and QA teams to achieve testing outcomes and results. About You: 3+ years of manual testing experience in desktop and/or web applications. Proven experience with end-to-end testing of frontend and backend systems. Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes. Expertise in mapping test strategies to requirements and creating detailed test cases. Experience working with test case management tools (e.g., TestRail). Solid understanding of relational and/or non-relational databases. Excellent collaboration skills, with experience working in multi-disciplinary teams (e.g., developers, QAs). Familiarity with Agile software development methodologies such as Scrum or Kanban. Working knowledge of tools like Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, Postman, Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket, Git, Microsoft Azure, Amazon AWS, and Google Cloud Platform. Software certifications are a bonus but not essential. A proactive, problem-solving mindset with a passion for continuous learning and knowledge sharing.
