Mechanical Assembler

Our client based in Segensworth are currently looking for an Assembler / Fitter to work on day shift in the mechanical assembly department. The ideal candidate will have manufacturing and / or Mechanical assembly experience and will be required to use hand tools, carry out general assembly and machine operating. This position will be in the sheet metal department of the company. The successful candidate will be responsible for assembling sheet metal products and will need to be confident with hand/power tools as well as manual handling. Duties: - Be able to work Independently and in a team. - Assembling sheet metal materials - Complete in-house paperwork, - Quality checks, before moving on the next stage, - Communicating with management regarding faults/issues or quality concerns, - Measuring raw materials and assembling Experience Required: - Experience of working in a mechanical environment - Any mechanical assembly experience desired - Attention to detail and the ability to work to tight deadlines - Hand tool experience - IT literate - Able to read and interpret measuring devices Offer: - Monday to Friday - Hours: 0800-1600 - £12.50ph + Overtime - 3 Month Temp to perm, - In-house training - Free Onsite Car Parking - 24 Days Holiday + Bank Holidays (Once Perm) - Pension Scheme (Once Perm) TPBN1_UKTJ
