Mechanical Division Manager

HAYS are recruiting on behalf of an established M&E Contractor based in Southampton. Following the success of their recently completed projects, they are looking for a Mechanical Division Manager to solidify their growth & amplify their mechanical arm.

Key Responsibilities:

• Management of Design or pre-commencement phase
• Liaise with clients, consultants, quantity surveyors and other third parties
• Procurement of the project (subcontract packages, materials, plant) before we start on site
• Production of construction/ commissioning programmes
• Management of your project site and office team, ensuring effectiveness in their role
• Achieving project milestones and deadlines
• Financial management and working to budgets
• Quality control

The ideal candidate:

• Commercial acumen
• Experience on design and build, new build and refurbishment projects
• High level of technical knowledge
• Strong negotiation skills
• Mechanical Contractor background
