Systems Engineer

Position: Systems Engineer Salary: £35,000 - £45,000 Location: Milton Keynes Proactive currently have an exciting opportunity for a Systems Engineer to begin work for a leading manufacturing and production business in Milton Keynes. Due to rapid company expansion and an ever growing order book, our client is hoping to recruit at least one additional Systems Engineer to help ensure the quality and accuracy of the factory's function is well maintained throughout this new and excited influx of work. You will be responsible for: Designing new rugged power protection products, both electrical and mechanical, using Inventor/AutoCAD software. Supporting the development of design solutions to agreed time, cost and quality in accordance with project or business milestones Supporting the development and management of requirements specific to a system or product and/or across a system of systems, platform or programme Ensure design proving evidence is comprehensive, captured within the requirements management tools and has been endorsed by the appropriate level of authority Work with the engineering team to improve own levels of domain knowledge and subject matter expertise Skills/Experience: Degree level qualification within a STEM field or equivalent practical experience Knowledge of Systems Engineering processes and practices and the correct recognition of the context of their work within the overall product an academic basis underpinning the discipline Knowledge of the engineering lifecycle with experience of operating in the phase relevant to the role and awareness of the entire engineering lifecycle Knowledge of Systems Engineering processes and practices Experienced in using Inventor/AutoCAD software If you are interested in this position, please apply with a copy of your CV & a member of our team will be in touch to discuss the opportunity with you in further detail.
