Electrical Maintenance Engineer

Electrical Maintenance Engineer | Commercial Maintenance | £43,000 + AP Allowances + Package | Permanent, PAYE | Westminster, London. We are currently recruiting for an Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join our maintenance / FM team based on a large commercial property in Westminster, London. As the Electrical Maintenance engineer, you will be responsible for carrying out Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPMs) and Reactive Maintenance / fault finding / repairs to all commercial electrical equipment / electrical systems. Package: What is in it for you? * £43,000 Basic Salary. * Hours: Monday - Friday, 08:00am - 5:00pm * Paid Overtime available: OTE: £50-55K per annum. * Additional earnings for up-skilling: company funded courses + £1,200 salary allowance per course passed. * NO call out on the contract. * Status: Permanent, PAYE * Holidays: 25 days + Bank Holidays (33 total) * Flexi benefits scheme: buy 5 more holiday days, discounts schemes etc. * Training and development may include: 2391 testing and inspection, LVAP, HVAP, Electrical to mechanical conversion etc. Duties: As the electrical maintenance engineer, you will be responsible for; * Planned preventative maintenance across all electrical systems. * Reactive maintenance / fault finding / repairs across all electrical systems. * Equipment may include: decorative / safety / security lighting, single / 3 phase power supplies, power distribution, wiring, cabling, transformers, installing electrical accessories, replacing electrical components to HVAC equipment, sockets, circuits, floor boxes etc. * 1st line faults to HVAC equipment, ie: coil cleans, filter changes etc to AHUs, FCUs etc. * Providing detailed job notes / remedial reports for all works. * Updating company CAFM system. * Working in a client facing position. * Adhering to company compliance and health and safety policies. Requirements: * To be considered for the role of Electrical Maintenance Engineer, we will need you to meet the following essential requirements: * Essential: Must be a fully qualified Electrician (ie: NVQ Level 3, City and Guilds 2360 Part 2, City and Guilds 2330 Level 3, City and Guilds Electrotechnical Level 3 etc). * Essential: Experience working with commercial electrical systems / equipment. * Desirable: City and Guilds Testing and Inspection (ie: 2391 / 2392 / 2393 / 2394 / 2395) * Desirable: Electrical Maintenance experience carrying out planned and reactive works in a commercial setting.
