Lead Engineer / Vehicle Engineering manager / PMT leader – durability attributes – hybrid working, permanent - Norwich Fed up with your role in attribute management within an existing OEM/tier 1? Well known sportscar manufacturer based in Norwich is seeking an attribute leader to be responsible for maintaining and delivering vehicle durability. This role is often caller “lead engineer”, PAT Leader, PMT, vehicle engineering manager in other organisations. What you will do * This is lead Engineer level role with seniority and responsibility for delivering the “durability” attribute across all areas of the car as it develops. * You will work with management product marketing to define durability targts and segment them into a cascade, assigning a target to each * You will analyse all subsystems during design and development to ensure all oroducts and systems are robust and will meet individual and overall vehicle durability attributes. * Work with stakeholders on contingent management, risk plans, non-conformance resolution for internal and supplier developed parts. What you will need: * Have held an attribute management role within an OEM, or a large tier 1. * Have a understanding of what vehicle durability means and how it may be cascaded and targeted into more granular attributes * Be able to demonstrate successful attribute deliver in any vehicle area * Be willing to work at least 2 days per week in Norwich * Ideally be authorised to work in the UK, but will consider candidates with exacting experience that require sponsorship. * Most likely have 10 years equivalent experience within automotive delivery and management.
