C++ Developer

Job Title: C++ Developer (Permanent) Location: Belfast, Northern Ireland (Hybrid Max 2 days a week in the office) Salary: £55,000 - £70,000 per annum (depending on experience) Start Date: Immediate available Job Description: We are seeking a talented and motivated C++ Developer to join our Clients growing team in Belfast on a permanent basis. This role offers a hybrid working arrangement, with a maximum of 2 days per week in the office, giving you flexibility while working on innovative projects. As a key member of our clients development team, you will contribute to the design, development, and maintenance of a high-performance Linux-based application. Responsibilities: Develop, enhance, and maintain a high-performance Linux-based application. Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code in C++. Debug and resolve software defects and issues, ensuring robust performance. Collaborate with team members to design and implement new features and functionalities. Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality and adherence to industry best practices. Assist in the creation and maintenance of technical documentation. Stay current with industry trends and best practices to ensure continuous improvement of the application. Requirements: Proven experience in C++ development, particularly in a Linux environment. Strong understanding of software development principles and methodologies. Proficiency in debugging and optimising C++ code for performance and reliability. Experience with version control systems such as Git. Familiarity with development tools and practices, including makefiles, shell scripting, and continuous integration. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team. Good communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with both remote and in-office team members. Preferred Qualifications: Experience with additional programming languages (e.g., Python, Java). Knowledge of network programming and protocols. Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
