Senior Data Engineer - DWP

Senior Data Engineer Inside IR35 SC Cleared Remote (Newcastle Once a Month) 4 Month Contract One of our government clients are searching for a Data Engineer who can lead the implementation of technical designs and blueprints for their data engineering infrastructure. The selected candidate must have SC Clearance and be able to start immediately.  The role? - Adding detail to framework designs and define specific tasks to integrate the designs with existing components. - Lead the response to technical problems arising with data flows and keep the Product, Delivery, and Data Engineering leadership informed of progress. - Adopting and adapting to department-wide design patterns that are difficult to influence, and prioritisation may shift in response to changing requirements You? • Engineering background with experience working with analysts • Experience working with version control (git / gitlab) and structuring repositories for data pipelines • Proficient with Python, PySpark, and SQL for data engineering uses • Knowledge of current database solutions, particularly semi-structured document databases (MongoDB) • Experience working with AWS, and data flow within AWS, and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) If you are interested, please apply here or reach out to me on (url removed)
