Senior Engineer

Unite People are currently recruiting for a permanent Senior Engineer on behalf of a national civil engineering contractor, with an extensive pipeline of works in the Midlands region. Role Overview: The successful candidate will have previous experience and be competent in the following: * Site set up and setting out. * As-built surveys. * QA. * Health and safety compliance. * Liaising with the end client on design issues, corrections and to carry out inspections. * Reporting to project manager. * Directly managing and directing engineering teams. * Raising design queries. * Road, 278, drainage, RC structures and highways projects. Requirements: * Degree, HNC, or HND in Civil Engineering or related field. * Proven experience in a site engineering role within the civil engineering sector. * Comprehensive knowledge of construction methods, materials, and equipment. * Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. * Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to various project sites. * Proficiency in AutoCAD and reviewing drawings. * CSCS Card
