Senior Software Engineer - Series B FemTech Scale-Up - London (Hybrid) - £75k - £90k

Venchr are collaborating with one of the most impressive femtech scale-ups, who are changing the way we interact with women’s health for the better. The team have developed a period and cycle-tracking app, recommended by doctors and praised by various high-profile media outlets. Their aim: to empower women to make informed decisions about their health and help them be in tune with their bodies, rather than working against them.
We are looking for an accomplished Senior Engineer with previous experience in the health tech sector (preferably women’s health specific) who can simultaneously improve and maintain the software.
What you’ll do:
You will work under the CTO and amongst fellow engineers, playing a vital role in designing, developing and optimising the core platform. Your day-to-day schedule will mostly consist of upgrading the app’s interface and working on updates before they go live. Responsibilities also include but are not limited to:
- Develop and improve database schemas
- Build and upkeep cloud functions
- Design and implement APIs and other microservices
What we’re looking for:
We are looking for a highly-skilled Senior engineer who is proficient in both frontend and backend technologies. This scale-up has a technology-agnostic approach and are adaptable when it comes to what technology you consider yourself well-versed in.
Your background will be health tech focused, preferably with a specialism in women’s health.
