Full Job Description Appliance Repair Services Ltd is seeking an engineer to service and repair domestic appliances in our customer’s homes. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a growing National Appliance Repair Company and be a part of our expanding brand.
The ideal candidate will be a skilled white goods engineer with experience in diagnosing and fixing a variety of appliances, including:
- Washing Machines (Freestanding & Integrated)
- Tumble Dryers (Freestanding & Integrated)
- Refrigeration Products (Frost Free & American Style, Freestanding & Integrated) – R600a System Training preferred but not required
- Electric Cookers, Ovens & Hobs (Freestanding & Integrated)
- Dishwashers (Freestanding & Integrated)
- Gas Safe / CCN1 / CKR1 qualifications are a plus but not essential
We are looking for engineers who are self-reliant and responsible, capable of managing their workload, spare parts inventory, and servicing their designated area efficiently. Candidates should demonstrate pride and diligence in their work, possess excellent communication skills, and have a lot of enthusiasm.

- On the road support from a senior engineer.
- Daily route planning from the administration team.
- Minimum of 2 year’s experience in repairing domestic appliances such as washing machines, dishwashers, cookers, tumble dryers, and fridge freezers.
- Ability to manage an assigned workload and carry out repairs following provided instructions.
- Must be presentable with excellent communication skills.
- Valid UK Driving Licence with fewer than 6 penalty points.
- Visiting clients’ homes to diagnose and rectify faults in all Domestic Appliances (White goods).
- Achieving a maximum of 8 customer visits per day, excluding recall repairs.
- Accurate visit and fault reporting using the Skyline Lite job management system.
- Spare part identification.
- Payment collection.
- Ability to work under pressure with a drive to meet daily deadlines.
