Proposals Engineer

A Proposals Engineer is required for a busy engineering company based in Worcester.
Interfacing with major national and international customers, you will be responsible for the proposal and tender of engineering capital equipment products. As an experienced engineer you will understand, interpret and respond to detailed technical specifications and documentation. Working closely with the engineering department you will interpret P&ID's and present design concepts to customers. You will co-ordinate all aspects of the bid preparation process.
Candidates will have previous experience in a similar role as a Proposals Engineer / Contracts Engineer / Internal Sales Engineer, or similar. Your experience will have been from an engineering environment and complex capital equipment. You will possess strong experience of the bid and proposal process.
Candiate must possess experience in either ATEX (or an understanding of hazardous area standards) or pumping systems. An understanding client specifications is also highly beneficial.
