About the Role: Our client is in search of an experienced Senior Civil Engineer with expertise in the UK water industry. This is a unique opportunity to contribute to prestigious projects and shape infrastructure development while maintaining a focus on engineering excellence. You will work on both infrastructure (Trunk Mains, Distribution Mains, strategic connections) and non-infrastructure projects (production site civils and structural alterations). Key Responsibilities: Project Leadership: Lead and manage projects from initiation to completion. Mentor and guide project teams to achieve successful outcomes. Ensure timely, budget-conscious, and high-quality project delivery. Client Engagement: Develop and maintain strong client relationships. Work closely with clients to understand objectives and provide bespoke solutions. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work alongside multidisciplinary teams, including contractors, structural engineers, and environmental specialists. Promote a collaborative and inclusive team environment. Quality Assurance: Implement quality control measures to ensure engineering integrity. Review deliverables to meet the highest industry standards. Innovation: Stay updated on industry advancements and emerging technologies. Contribute to innovative and sustainable engineering practices. What Our Client is Looking For: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent industry experience. 5+ years of progressive experience in civil engineering with a proven record of successful project delivery. Chartered Engineer (CEng) status with a recognised institution (e.g., ICE) is highly desirable. Proficiency in industry-standard software such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and structural analysis tools. Deep understanding of civil engineering principles, construction methodologies, and materials. Strong communication, problem-solving, and leadership skills.
