About the Role: Our client is in search of an experienced Senior Civil Engineer with expertise in the UK water industry. You will work on both infrastructure (Trunk Mains, Distribution Mains, strategic connections) and non-infrastructure projects (production site civils and structural alterations). Key Responsibilities: Project Leadership: Lead and manage projects from initiation to completion. Mentor and guide project teams to achieve successful outcomes. Ensure timely, budget-conscious, and high-quality project delivery. Client Engagement: Develop and maintain strong client relationships. Work closely with clients to understand objectives and provide bespoke solutions. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work alongside multidisciplinary teams, including contractors, structural engineers, and environmental specialists. Promote a collaborative and inclusive team environment. Quality Assurance: Implement quality control measures to ensure engineering integrity. Review deliverables to meet the highest industry standards. Innovation: Stay updated on industry advancements and emerging technologies. Contribute to innovative and sustainable engineering practices. What Our Client is Looking For: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent industry experience. 5+ years of progressive experience in civil engineering with a proven record of successful project delivery. Chartered Engineer (CEng) status with a recognised institution (e.g., ICE) is highly desirable. Proficiency in industry-standard software such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and structural analysis tools. Deep understanding of civil engineering principles, construction methodologies, and materials. Strong communication, problem-solving, and leadership skills.
