Position: Process Engineer Location: Cookstown Salary: £35,000 - £45,000 per annum Exciting Opportunity: Process Engineer in Cookstown! About Our Client: Our client, a well-established manufacturing company based in Cookstown, is seeking a skilled Process Engineer to join their team. This role focuses on optimizing manufacturing processes, improving efficiency, and ensuring product quality throughout the production lifecycle. Key Responsibilities: Analyse and improve manufacturing processes to enhance productivity, reduce waste, and improve product quality. Develop and implement process improvements and lean manufacturing initiatives. Monitor production processes, collecting and analysing data to identify areas for optimization. Troubleshoot and resolve production issues related to process inefficiencies or equipment malfunctions. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including production, maintenance, and quality, to ensure smooth process operations. Design and conduct trials for new processes, equipment, and materials to enhance production performance. Implement continuous improvement strategies and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to meet production targets. Ensure compliance with health and safety standards, maintaining a safe working environment. Qualifications and Skills: Bachelors degree in Process Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field. Proven experience as a Process Engineer, preferably in a manufacturing environment. Strong knowledge of process optimization, lean manufacturing principles, and Six Sigma methodologies. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to identify process inefficiencies and recommend solutions. Familiarity with CAD software and other engineering tools. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. Strong communication and project management skills. Commitment to safety and regulatory compliance.
