**Your Profile:**
The ideal candidate will possess a proven track record in leadership and management within the food industry, FMCG, or general manufacturing environments. Experience in driving projects and establishing departments is essential. Your ability to lead, mentor, and develop a team will be critical to your success in this role.
**The Role:**
As an Engineering Manager, you will oversee a team of up to 13 engineers, potentially across two sites. Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Managing and developing the skills matrix for the engineering team.
- Implementing shift patterns to ensure optimal delivery.
- Reviewing contractual spend and identifying cost-saving opportunities.
- Mentoring and motivating the team to stabilise and enhance departmental performance.
- Recruiting new talent to support the department’s growth and stability.
- Leading extensive projects, including the implementation of new production lines and future planning for a new factory.
