An opportunity has arisen for a meticulous and dedicated Quality Engineer to join a leading industrial/manufacturing company, based in Manchester. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the highest level of quality and safety standards whilst driving continuous improvements cross functionally. Client Details Our client is a major player in the industrial/manufacturing sector using fabrication processes to make the product, boasting a customer base of Blue Chip clients in the Industrial sector located in Manchester, they pride themselves on their commitment to innovation, quality, and safety. Description As the Quality Engineer you will be tasked with the following; Developing and implementing quality standards for the Engineering & Manufacturing department. Driving Continuous Improvement activities cross functionally to reduce; NCRs, Scrap and boost productivity. Prepare documentation and log any issues via QMS to ensure these are actioned accordingly. Conducting regular audits in compliance with ISO 9001 and reporting on quality metrics. Collaborating with suppliers to ensure quality of raw materials. Managing documentation related to quality control processes.Profile A successful Quality Engineer should have: A degree/apprenticeship or experience within a relevant Engineering or a related field. Demonstrable background on CI/LEAN practices within a Manufacturing setting. Strong knowledge of quality assurance methodologies. Experience of working in accordance to ISO 9001. An ability to to manage expectations of both your colleague and customers in order to drive engagement towards Quality and CI.Job Offer As Quality Engineer you will receive - Salary ranging from £39,000 - £44,000 Private Medical Company Pension Cycle to work
