Systems Engineer

Mission Systems Engineer Initial 12 Month Contract Hybrid - 3-4 days per week on site in Warton, Lancashire £79.19 Per Hour (Inside IR35 - Umbrella Rate) The Role As an experienced Mission Systems Engineer, you will get the opportunity to develop the next generation of mission systems across the engineering lifecycle, from requirements through to design, development and implementation. The successful candidate could be expected to provide technical expertise, supporting and / or leading in the following activities for mission systems as part of a multi-functional engineering team: Concepting, Architecting, Requirements management, Design, Testing, Safety, Cyber Security, Qualification and certification. You will be positioned as and where needed on any of these activities. Lead and support team meetings / DSUMs / Agile reviews Manage / help / direct less experienced Systems Engineers, e.g. an Apprentice The Candidate will require experience with the following: Systems engineering and engineering lifecycle experience Knowledge of systems engineering methods and tools (e.g. UML/SysML, MoDAF, MOOD, Matlab) Experience of developing mission systems and associated domain knowledge APPLY NOW If this sounds like the role for you, we'd love to hear from you!
